M & Co living grew from necessity, first home buyers + high interest rates = budget renovations and diy furniture flips to update old pieces and give them new life.

 From small beginnings in Portland, Victoria, where i grew up and renovated first my bedroom as a teenager. to then in 1992 move on to full house renovations and furniture restorations, i taught myself as much as i could about diy, preferring to do things myself to get the look I was after and save a lot of money in the process.

In the 90's refurbishing furniture wasn't very popular here in australia (shabby chic was just beginning to make an impact) but it was the only affordable way to get the style i wanted for my home, there wasn't the availability of boho, hamptons or coastal style furniture that we have such an abundance of now.

 i researched every magazine, i could get my hands on, saving the pages with the things i loved for inspiration.  

some of those first furniture flips were sold or passed on to friends and my renovations became the inspiration for others to update their homes, which in turn inspired me to learn more.

fast forward a few years and i became more focused on my furniture flipping business, working out of my garage, i was turning over a few pieces a week and also working on commissions and creating homewares and loving every minute of it!

 M&Co.Living was born.

During the last couple of years everything has taken a back seat as i have been studying Interior Design and this is where our home fragrance comes in (because i can't sit still for a minute) something creative that is not as time consuming as furniture...and the response has been overwhelming!

Our luxury candles and diffusers are vegan, non-toxic and handpoured.

made with the highest quality ingredients, including 100% soy wax, which is eco friendly and free of paraffins and parabens.

The fragrances for this range of candles are deliciously sweet and decadent and now we know your favourites, we will soon be updating our range and our packaging, we love our home fragrances and we will continue to have a candle and diffuser range available....but....

i have missed the building and painting so much that we will soon be adding a carefully curated range of both new and upcycled homewares to our website.
